X-Ray Technician
This position requires a schedule of Monday through Thursday, from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
This is a 13-week contract position.
The X-Ray Technician will play a vital role in performing imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and providing accurate results for diagnosis and treatment. This position is integral to the healthcare team and requires a professional capable of working in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various radiographic procedures, including abdomen, extremities, and chest imaging.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
- Work effectively in collaboration with medical staff and provide support in additional imaging procedures.
- Document imaging procedures and maintain patient records accurately.
- Participate in the maintenance and troubleshooting of radiological equipment.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- ARRT certification in Radiography.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ideally has experience with Epic charting system.
- State license required for practice in Oregon.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
