Merchandise Sales Assistant

Merchandise Sales Assistants are focused on creating a magical and enjoyable shopping experience by ensuring the highest standard of Guest Service. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with Guests and Cast, operate a point-of-sale system (POS register), handle cash, stock, inventory, and perform light cleaning. Location: Disney Character Warehouse, Tampa Premium Outlets in Tampa, FL

Responsibilities:

• Connect with Guests by asking open-ended questions to assess needs and make appropriate suggestions
• Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced environment that provides Guests with an entertaining, fun, and dynamic experience
• Perform cash wrap and mobile Point of Sales duties in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining a high level of Guest Service
• Manage the processing of shipment, replenishment of the sales floor, and additional operational tasks based on business needs
• Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment
• Demonstrate strong Guest-focused engagement on and off the sales floor
• Clean and dust floor surfaces, counters, and displays using cloths, brooms, brushes, and/or cleaning agents

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid U.S. driver license
• Job may require lifting boxes that weigh up to 45 lbs.
• Physical role requiring lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, standing, climbing, walking, and kneeling
• Basic math skills
• Comfortable with technology
• Written and verbal communication skills in English
• Full Time requires full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual preferred
• Previous cashier experience
• Previous retail or related sales experience
