Medical AssistantShift Details: PRN (as needed - Minimum of 4 days per pay period)Unit/Location: Wasatch Back Float PoolAdditional Details: This position is in the Wasatch Back Float Pool, which provides coverage for clinics in Park City, and Heber. Although Park City is considered our home base, travel between clinics is required. Shifts may qualify for mileage reimbursement.The Wasatch Back Float Pool provides coverage for clinics that may open as early as 6:30 AM and stay open as late as 7 PM Monday thru Friday. We also support the InstaCares which are typically open 7 days a week and holidays from 7:50 AM – 8 PM. Attention to detail and follow-through are key components in helping to provide the care that is needed.Minimum QualificationsSuccessful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (certification must be provided upon hire)Or at least one year of Medical Assistant experience (verified upon hire)Or current RN/LPN license to practice nursing in the stateCurrent Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start dateDemonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and Protected Health Information (PHI) of patients, members, and caregivers.Utah Only: If certified with less than one year of MA experience, caregivers may attend a yearlong MA residency programPreferred QualificationsExperience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting.Computer literacy in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software.Current national MA certification from one of the following national MA certifications or registrations: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) of AMT, National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) of the AAMALocation:Heber Valley Clinic, Heber Valley Specialty Clinic, Intermountain Health Heber Valley Hospital, Intermountain Health Park City Hospital, Mountain Family Health, Park City Clinic, Park City Instacare, Park City Medical Office PlazaWork City:Park CityWork State:UtahScheduled Weekly Hours:0The hourly range for this position is listed below.
