As a Part Time Registered Nurse in Med Surg at Southwest Health System, Inc., you will administer nursing care to patients with exceptional efficiency, safety, and courtesy, utilizing established nursing procedures. Your role will require demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, enabling you to assess and interpret crucial data reflective of each patient's status. To succeed as a Part Time Registered Nurse in Med Surg at Southwest Health System, Inc., you'll need a robust set of qualifications and skills.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Nursing Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire 12 months if a new graduate.
• Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire 12 months if a new graduate.
• Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire.

Language Skills:

• Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong communication skills
