Medical Assistant Combo

We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Medical Assistant Combo, in the city of Fountain Valley & Long Beach, CA. Job Type: Full-time, DIRECT HIRE (This position does not include benefits. The only benefit provided is a 5-day PSL accrual). Pay: $17-18 per hour Hours: Monday-Friday (Candidate MUST be able to work the following Schedule):

• Monday: 8am-1pm (Fountain Valley Office)
• Tuesday: 9am-6pm (Long Beach Office)
• Wednesday: 8am-5pm(Long Beach Office)
• Thursday: 8am-5pm(Long Beach Office)
• Friday: 8am-5pm(Long Beach Office)

FRONT OFFICE Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization by efficiently scheduling appointments. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by verifying patient insurance benefits and eligibility prior to the appointment; preparing necessary documents Maintain optimum patient confidentiality and safety. BACK OFFICE Administer injections and draw blood. Room patients, take and record vital signs, and prepare them for provider exams. Document patient medical histories, chief complaints, and intake notes in the EMR. Assist providers with in-office procedures. Administer medications and immunizations. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens (e.g., blood, urine, swabs) Ensure equipment is sanitized and functioning properly. Coordinate follow-up care, including lab results, specialist referrals, and patient instructions. Adhere to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations. Qualifications and Skills: Bilingual in Spanish (Required). Must be able commute to Fountain Valley (Required-Mondays Only) MA Certification (Required)
