As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports. Help to deter unauthorized activity, property damage, and policy violations through a visible presence, professional communication, and timely escalation to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least one year of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
