Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography; IR Tech certification or significant relevant experience preferred
• Valid state license to practice as an IR Technologist
• Minimum of one year working as an IR Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, fluoroscopy equipment, and interventional radiology procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with providers, patients, and the care team
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, prioritize tasks, and follow safety protocols

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time hours as assigned, with shifts occurring within standard hospital operational times
• Flexibility for rotating shifts, on-call, or weekends may be required depending on department needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up and assist with interventional radiology procedures, including angiograms, biopsies, drainages, and stent placements
• Ensure adequate preparation of procedure rooms, including maintaining sterile fields and managing imaging equipment
• Monitor patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
• Complete all required documentation, imaging records, and participate in quality assurance activities
• Guarantee strict compliance with regulatory standards and infection control practices

$2,904 - $3,072/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
