Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years Stepdown Unit experience License: Oklahoma State License Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Flexibility required, Floating to Med/Surg or ER Description: This unit cares for patients experiencing STEMI/NSTEMI and chest pain rule out. They manage cases of congestive heart failure and provide noninvasive ventilation. They also care for cardiothoracic surgery patients transitioning from ICU. Nurses administer antiarrhythmic IV medications. They may encounter patients with peripheral vascular compromise. A flexible scheduling approach is necessary as there is no block scheduling. Weekend shifts will be required, with 6 weekend shifts expected per 6-week schedule.
