Greens Restaurant is looking for an experienced Weekend Brunch Server to join our Front of House team.

Since 1979, Greens has helped define vegetable-forward cooking in America. Our menus celebrate seasonal produce, local farms, and thoughtful cooking, served in our landmark dining room overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay.

We are looking for a warm, confident, and experienced server who genuinely enjoys hospitality, thrives in a busy restaurant, and wants to be part of a professional and supportive team.

This position is primarily focused on weekend brunch and daytime service , and consistent weekend availability is essential.

• Provide warm, knowledgeable, attentive service while allowing guests to enjoy their experience at a comfortable pace.

• Guide guests through our seasonal food and beverage menus with confidence and enthusiasm.

• Develop a strong understanding of ingredients, preparation, allergens, and dietary considerations.

• Manage a busy section while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with fellow servers, support staff, bartenders, managers, and the kitchen.

• Anticipate guest needs and respond thoughtfully when challenges arise.

• Complete opening, running, and closing side work thoroughly.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and polished dining room.

• Support teammates throughout service and contribute to a collaborative Front of House culture.

• Represent Greens with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality.

You have experience serving in a high-volume, full-service restaurant and are comfortable managing a busy section while maintaining excellent hospitality.

You’re someone who notices the details. You can read a table, prioritize effectively, communicate clearly, and remain calm and gracious when the restaurant gets busy.

You’re curious about food and beverage and excited to learn about seasonal vegetables, local farms, wine, cocktails, and the ingredients that make our menus unique.

You understand that great service is a team effort. You are dependable, punctual, prepared, and willing to jump in when a teammate needs support.

We especially value people who are looking for a restaurant where they can become part of the team for the long term. Many members of the Greens staff have been with us for years, and we take pride in creating an environment where people can continue learning and growing.

This is a part-time, non-exempt hourly position focused primarily on weekend brunch and AM shifts.

Consistent Saturday and Sunday availability is required. Additional weekday or daytime shifts may be available depending on business needs and availability.

Hourly compensation and tips are provided in accordance with Greens Restaurant’s compensation and tip-pool policies and applicable law. Tips are variable and are not guaranteed.

California Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification are required as applicable, or must be obtained within the timeframe required by law.
