Overview: Position: Junior QA Automation Tester Location: Houston, TX Experience: 0-2 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: Remote (Work From Home) About the Role We are seeking motivated recent graduates and early-career professionals with 0-2 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team as a Junior QA Automation Tester . - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Design and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
- Perform API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test suites.
- Maintain test plans, test reports, and testing documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.
- Stay updated with the latest QA automation tools, technologies, and best practices.
- 0-2 years of experience or foundational knowledge in QA Automation Testing.
- Basic knowledge of Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with TestNG or JUnit.
- Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
