Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and dependable Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide onsite mental health services at the Wilkes County Jail in Georgia. This is a great opportunity for a mental health professional who wants to make a meaningful difference while working up to just 2 hours per week. What You'll Do Provide onsite mental health care to patients within the correctional healthcare setting Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations Identify mental health needs and provide appropriate interventions Offer supportive counseling and crisis intervention as needed Collaborate with the healthcare team regarding patient mental health needs Document services and maintain accurate clinical records Help promote continuity and quality of mental healthcare This position is for onsite care only. No telehealth services are required or offered for this role. Qualifications Qualified candidates may include: Licensed or qualified Counselors Social Workers Psychiatric RNs Other professionals who meet QMHP requirements under applicable Georgia standards The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a correctional healthcare environment.
