Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a hospital setting in Saint Charles, MO.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Missouri state OT license required. Compact licensure accepted where applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience required.
• Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Willingness to float between facilities as required by the client.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising assistant or aide staff.
• Experience designing and fabricating splints.
• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Must be willing to float between Atrium and Aspen.
• 35 hours Guaranteed Time Distribution (GTD).
• No weekends required.

Impacting Patient Care

As an Occupational Therapist in this hospital environment, you will design and administer treatment programs to increase patients‘ functional levels. Duties include utilizing therapeutic exercises and activities to improve or maintain strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination, maintaining timely and accurate patient records, and supervising assistant or aide staff as appropriate.
