Dietary Aide
Reports to: Dietary Manager/Supervisor
Position Summary: The Cook/Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing meals that meet the nutritional needs of the facility residents in a safe, resident-focused manner. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Reviews food menus and work orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared.
- Prepares meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes in a sanitary manner to ensure the utmost in quality with a minimum of waste.
- Serves meals based on residents' menu selections.
- Reviews menus to identify all foods required for therapeutic diets before preparing food.
- Cleans dishes and cookware, as well as kitchen between meals when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications: Current ServSafe certification
