At Elara Caring, Physical Therapist Assistants provide high-quality care to patients in their preferred home setting. You will promote Elara Carings philosophy and mission to ensure quality care, perform direct physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, follow the Plan of Care, adhere to State Practice Act Guidelines, and instruct patients and families in safe use of assistive devices and home therapy programs.
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
- Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
- 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
- Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area.
- Must have a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients.
