Work Environment\nThe work setting is primarily remote, providing you the flexibility to manage your schedule and work from the comfort of your home. You will engage with clients between Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some schedule flexibility based on patient needs. This structure allows for a balanced work-life integration while maintaining a focus on delivering personalized care.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and determine the best course of treatment. \n
- Develop and implement comprehensive individual treatment plans that focus on recovery from trauma and the building of resilience. \n
- Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patient healing. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to aid patients in processing trauma while developing coping strategies for daily challenges. \n
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. \n
- Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective assistance. \n
- Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available resources, empowering them with knowledge about coping mechanisms. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to uphold confidentiality and track patient progress. \n
- Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives that enhance knowledge in trauma-informed care. \n
- Stay informed on the latest research and best practices within the field of trauma therapy. \n
Your primary focus will be on patients impacted by trauma, including individuals experiencing symptoms of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida is required. \n
- A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies. \n
- Demonstrable experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies, backed by an ability to communicate effectively and compassionately. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications is essential. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. \n
