Effective Date: 7/1/2026 Qualifications Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood/Child Development from an accredited college preferred. Diploma in Child Development or Early Childhood or related field required. A minimum of an Early Childhood Care and Education Basic TCC or Comparable Credential. Paraprofessional license requirement: Hold an associate's degree or higher in any subject from a GaPSC-accepted accredited institution. Hold a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent and have passed the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment. Experience working with infants and toddlers. Ability to work with infants, toddlers, and at-risk families. Sound moral character, high ethical standards, and good health.
