Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room environment
• Assist with open heart surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout all phases of care
• Participate in an on-call rotation, expected approximately 10–15 days per month
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to support efficient OR workflow
• Adhere to all facility protocols, sterile technique standards, and cardiovascular surgical guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact state license
• CVOR experience required
• Open heart surgical experience required
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as part of the standard schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume cardiovascular surgical setting
• Familiarity with a broad range of cardiac surgical procedures and instrumentation
