## Rehab TechnicianApplylocations: Saint Luke's South Hospital | 12300 Metcalf Ave | Overland Park | KStime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 8 Days Agojob requisition id: JobReq0058230# **Job Description*****Saint Luke's South Hospital is seeking a full-time Rehab Tech to join our team!***Assists in preparing patients for treatment under the supervision of Physical and Occupational Therapists or Assistants, Speech Pathologists and Audiologists, and other clinic staff. Performs routine tasks and assists therapists during patient treatment activities as directed.* Full-time day shift: Monday thru Friday 8:00 to 4:30* Weekend and Holiday shifts required* Participates in lifting, transferring and ambulation of patients and/or equipment* Participates in ADLs specifically dressing and grooming as assigned by clinical staff* Assists with supervised feeding programs* Uses professional judgement to always ensure safety to self, patients, and others* Transport patients to and from the Rehab Department* Environmental cleaning* Taking inventory, ordering and stocking supplies* Issues DME under the direction of the therapist* Performs set up and cleanup of treatment area including appropriate equipment and supplies* May be involved in mentoring, training of new technician staff members.* Performs all other duties as requested by the manager.* May be involved with clerical and computer skills* Performs patient blood pressure readings during treatment under the guidance of clinical staff.# **Job Requirements**Applicable Experience:Less than 1 yearBasic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross# **Job Details**Full TimeDay (United States of America)***The best place to get care.
