Learn more at: avathon.com We are looking for a Product Manager, Energy & Critical Resources to help define and shape Avathon’s next generation of Physical AI products for the global energy and resources ecosystem spanning oil & gas, power and utilities, renewables, and mining. You will own product strategy for cutting-edge capabilities that apply agentic AI, operational intelligence, digital twins, predictive and prescriptive AI, and autonomous decision-making to some of industry’s hardest problems from asset reliability and production optimization to grid and field operations, maintenance, supply chains, and increasingly autonomous operations. Working alongside AI scientists, engineers, forward-deployed teams, and industry leaders, you will translate complex real-world operational challenges into scalable AI products capable of transforming how the world’s critical energy and resource infrastructure is operated. What You'll Work On Define and lead next-generation products that apply AI, operational intelligence, optimization, and autonomous decision-making to complex physical operations from concept and validation through launch, adoption, and scale Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities across asset reliability and integrity, predictive maintenance, production and process optimization, field operations, mine-to-mill operations, power generation optimization, grid operations, renewable asset performance, energy management, and operational planning Partner with applied Science, Product and Forward-Deployed Engineering teams to transform agentic AI, predictive and prescriptive models, optimization, digital twins, computer vision, and decision intelligence into repeatable, scalable products for industrial environments Define how Avathon’s computational knowledge graph connects assets, processes, people, operating conditions, maintenance, production, and enterprise data to give AI the context required to reason and make decisions across complex operations Work directly with energy producers, miners, utilities, power generators and distributors, renewable operators, engineers, and frontline operational teams to deeply understand operating constraints, validate product concepts, and identify opportunities for transformational impact Translate complex operational challenges into clear product capabilities, workflows, requirements, KPIs, and measurable outcomes such as increased availability, production and throughput; reduced downtime and cost; improved reliability and safety; and greater operational autonomy Partner across Product Engineering, AI Research, Forward Deployed Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to take products from concept to production deployment and convert successful customer solutions into scalable product capabilities Stay at the forefront of Physical AI, industrial autonomy, energy transition, grid modernization, mining technology, and emerging AI capabilities to identify new markets, product opportunities, and areas of differentiation for Avathon. Measure product success through customer adoption, operational impact, AI performance, repeatability, and commercial scalability, using insights from live industrial deployments to continuously evolve the portfolio Top of Form Bottom of Form What We’re Looking For: MBA required from a top-tier university 4+ years of relevant experience in product management, management consulting, energy, mining, industrial technology, operations, or a related field Strong understanding of the operating environment of energy, mining, metals, or other critical resource companies Experience defining and deploying products incorporating AI, machine learning, optimization, or advanced analytics preferred Strong ability to translate complex business problems into clear product requirements Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills Experience working directly with enterprise customers and senior business stakeholders Strong understanding of industrial and B2B operating environments preferred Ability to operate with significant ownership in a fast-moving technology company What You'll Learn Within your first few years at Avathon, our goal is for you to develop an unusually powerful combination of skills: Deep technical fluency in AI, exceptional product judgment, understanding of complex industrial systems, and the ability to take ambiguous problems from zero to production.
