Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Every 5th weekend, Friday 5:00 PM Monday 5:00 AM; September start, coverage needed through approximately November
• Job Setting: Inpatient
• Types of Cases: OB/GYN Call Only Low and high risk pregnancy, routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, C-section, VBAC, breech, multiple births, abruptions), OB ultrasounds (Level I & II), amniocentesis, FHR interpretation, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, surgical and office gynecology (open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, operative/major); approximately 750 deliveries per year; call ratio 1:4 (beeper call, 30-minute response time); 0-5 phone consults, 0-3 patients seen, 0-2 admissions per call shift
• Credentialing: Estimated 60-90 days; temporary privileges not available

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Fellowship preferred
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
• Licensure: Active Missouri state license required; IMLC not accepted
