Position Summary

GD Resources LLC is seeking an experienced On-Site Janitorial Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations at a government courthouse and multi-service facility comprising approximately 87,593 square feet of cleanable space.

The supervisor will manage janitorial personnel, ensure consistent cleaning quality, maintain compliance with facility requirements, and serve as the primary on-site point of contact for building management.

• Supervise and coordinate evening janitorial staff performing cleaning services throughout the facility.

• Assign daily tasks and ensure all required cleaning activities are completed according to established schedules.

• Conduct routine inspections of courtrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces.

• Oversee carpet vacuuming, floor maintenance, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and periodic deep-cleaning activities.

• Meet or communicate with the facility's designated representative daily between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM to receive instructions and discuss service quality.

• Maintain staff attendance records and ensure employees comply with daily sign-in/sign-out procedures.

• Train janitorial employees on cleaning procedures, equipment operation, safety, and approved chemical usage.

• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and report replenishment or maintenance needs.

• Address cleaning deficiencies promptly and coordinate corrective actions.

• Coordinate weekly, biweekly, monthly, and annual cleaning schedules.

• Ensure employees comply with building security requirements and professional conduct standards.

• Arrange appropriate personnel coverage when employees are absent.

• Remain available by phone whenever janitorial personnel are performing services, including approved weekend or holiday work.

• Report operational concerns, staffing issues, and completed work to GD Resources management.

• At least two (2) years of janitorial supervisory experience , preferably in commercial, institutional, or government facilities.

• Demonstrated experience supervising cleaning personnel and coordinating work assignments.

• Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods, floor care, carpet maintenance, and sanitation procedures.

• Experience operating commercial janitorial equipment.

• Ability to conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate records.

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to meet facility security requirements and successfully complete required background screening.

• Reliable transportation to the job location.

• Availability during required evening hours and for approved additional cleaning activities.

• Experience supervising cleaning operations in courthouses, government buildings, or large commercial facilities.

• Familiarity with environmentally preferred cleaning products and safety procedures.

• Experience preparing employee schedules, inspection reports, and cleaning checklists.
