Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time | Darlington, SC Location: Darlington, SC Facility: Bethea Retirement Community Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity Continuum Therapy Partners is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position at Bethea Retirement Community in Darlington, South Carolina. This opportunity allows you to provide speech therapy services to adult and geriatric residents in a collaborative rehabilitation setting focused on improving communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall quality of life. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Perform dysphagia evaluations and implement evidence-based swallowing interventions. Provide cognitive-communication, language, speech, and voice therapy. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation in accordance with Medicare, state, federal, and company guidelines. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program. Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required. Experience in senior living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care is preferred but not required. Excellent communication, organization, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
