Description

• Create tailored therapy plans that focus on both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing objectives.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions addressing communication, language nuances, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing intricacies.
• Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical professionals, caregivers, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
• Deliver educational opportunities for patients and their families, reinforcing therapeutic progress beyond the clinical environment.
• Provide inpatient care in select situations, ensuring a seamless treatment continuity.
• Document progress in an accurate and timely manner, adhering to all regulatory standards.
• Engage in lifelong learning and professional development through continuing education and collaborative opportunities.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification should be acquired within the first month of employment.
