$30,000 Sign on Bonus Job Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. Minimum Training and Education Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Licensure, Certifications, Registrations Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. BLS and ACLS required. BLS must be an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or an equivalent, or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider certification. ACLS is required. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, work indoors/outdoors, work from elevated areas, confined spaces, kneeling positions. Ability to bend, twist at the waist, squat, pinching operations, gross and fine motor manipulation, reach overhead, repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows/shoulders. Use of both legs, lower extremities for balance and coordination, reach in all directions. Lift and carry 50 lbs unassisted; lift/lower 50 lbs from/to floor or 36 inches unassisted; lift from 36” to overhead 25 lbs; exert up to 50 lbs of force. Vision: maintain 20/40 corrected; see and recognize objects at hand or distance; discriminate colors; depth perception; peripheral vision. Hearing acuity with correction. Deal effectively with stressful situations. Work rotating shifts, overtime, latex‑safe environment; maintain tactile sensory functions; olfactory sensory function (selected positions); respirator use qualification (selected positions).
