We are seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience managing hotel operations, staff, and guest relations.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Guest Services

• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Handle reservations, room availability, and guest inquiries.
• Answer office phones and assist customers with reservations and general questions.
• Resolve guest complaints and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Ensure guests receive excellent customer service throughout their stay.

Rent Collection & Financial Responsibilities

• Collect rent and payments from current guests and long-term residents.
• Follow up on past-due balances and outstanding payments.
• Maintain accurate payment records using hotel management software.
• Monitor guest accounts and ensure payments are collected on time.

Housekeeping Management

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff.
• Assign daily cleaning duties and monitor room readiness.
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained.
• Address housekeeping issues and ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.

Maintenance Management

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff.
• Receive, prioritize, and assign maintenance requests.
• Follow up to ensure repairs are completed promptly.
• Monitor property conditions and report necessary repairs or improvements.

Hotel Software & Office Administration

• Operate hotel property management software for reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and payments.
• Maintain accurate guest records and room availability.
• Manage daily office operations and administrative responsibilities.
• Ensure accurate documentation of guest accounts, payments, and maintenance requests.

After-Hours Responsibilities

• Be available to answer and respond to after-hours guest calls.
• Handle urgent maintenance issues and coordinate necessary repairs.
• Respond to guest complaints, room inquiries, and other property-related concerns.
• Exercise sound judgment when handling situations outside normal business hours.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, hospitality, or property management experience preferred.
• Experience with hotel reservation and property management software.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to supervise employees and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Comfortable handling rent collections and past-due accounts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Dependable, professional, and able to respond to after-hours situations.
