Senior Advanced Reliability Engineer

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Reliability, Electrical, Mechanical or Materials Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 6 years relevant experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.Description of Needs:Advises and confers with engineers in design review meetings to provide reliability and maintainability findings and recommendationsDevelops Reliability Program PlansGenerates reliability and maintainability mathematical models and predictionsParticipates in a Failure Review BoardParticipates in a FRACAS program as a team memberDrives stress analysis/worst case analysis efforts of partsParticipates in Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) effortsSupports sustainment efforts through reliability assessmentsIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvements and innovationDemonstrates strong leadership capability within a team-based environmentStrong organizational and communication skillsSelf-starter able to work with minimal supervisionIndividual Contributor#CJ3 Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
