Interim Director of Nursing Needed in Granite Falls, Minnesota!

The Position

An Interim Director of Nursing is needed to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for a 48-bed skilled nursing facility. Reporting to the Administrator, this leader will oversee approximately 30 FTEs. Key responsibilities include leading nursing operations, supporting quality care initiatives, optimizing EPIC workflows, implementing structured processes, collaborating with staff, and ensuring accountability across the department.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading skilled nursing or long-term care nursing operations, with a proven ability to collaborate with teams, strengthen systems and processes, and support quality outcomes. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required. Active RN license required. Previous nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care settings is required. Experience with EPIC and quality improvement initiatives is preferred.

Compensation Details

Compensation Range: $160,000 to $175,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
