Auburn Village seeks an experienced healthcare profession to be our Hospital Liaison. Are you an accomplished healthcare marketing representative? We are seeking a dynamic, engaging individual with long term healthcare experience to be the face of our community, able to nurture current relationships and build new ones within the healthcare communities. You'll be working with a collaborative team who work towards the common goal of promoting Auburn Village as being the best place to be in the northeastern Indiana area. Our nursing and therapy teams provide outstanding patient outcomes.
Located just 20 minutes north of Fort Wayne you will be representing a lovely, newly renovated, well-respected skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing the highest standard of short and long-term healthcare.

This is a salaried position with a salary range of $60,000-$70,000 plus bonus potential and comes with a wide choice of voluntary insurance options, matching 401k plan and paid time off.
Responsibilities of the Hospital Liaison Business Development Representative:
• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, social workers and physicians in a specified hospital territory to generate qualified referrals
• Recommend referrals that lead to successful admissions to Auburn Village
• Review and assess potential patients for admission to facilities
• Meet with families and patients at facilities to assist with admission
• Assist facility with promotional events including open houses, health fairs, etc.
Requirements:Requirements of the Hospital Liaison Business Development Representative:
- Experienced healthcare marketer with established track record in sales and relationship building
- Knowledge of area hospitals and other local healthcare organizations
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse or other clinician with marketing experience preferred
- Experience with physician and hospital staff relationship development
- Sales and marketing experience with regard to generating referral sources
- Good understanding of private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid benefits as they pertain to skilled nursing
- Open to occasionally being on-call evenings and weekends to ensure patient placement is facilitated
