• Sterile Processing Tech Certification required
• Sterile Processing Tech experience highly preferred

What You'll Do -Cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing equipment

• Ensures the instruments and equipment are available
• Ensures all equipment is properly maintained, and ready for immediate use in order to support patient care

What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays.
