Activity Director Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Certification completion
• Must possess an ADC, CDP, or CTRS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care, as a supervisor
• Ability to communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary team
• Computer knowledge
• Ability to manage time effectively

Activity Director Responsibilities

• Ability to communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary team
• Developing care plans, monitoring systems and all documentation requirements
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance programs, State survey processes, Residents' Rights
• Supervising the Recreation Department personnel
• Creating, planning, implementing monthly calendars and newsletters
• Follow budgetary guidelines for the department.
• Creating, Planning, and Implementing Facility Event Calendar for staff
• Creating person-centered large and small group programs, hospitality, and special sensory activities
