Registered Nurse Position - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 × 12-hour shifts per week, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be comfortable working with ventilators. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients while maintaining effective communication with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions; implement necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required prior to starting.
• Experience with ventilator management.
• Ability to adhere to a 1:4 to 1:6 patient ratio.
• Must pass fingerprint background checks.
