Position: Member Specialist Location: Allegan, MI Job Id: 3272 # of Openings: 1 Position Overview Member Specialists at Honor Credit Union provide exceptional member service and develop strong professional relationships while assisting members with new loans and products, opening and maintaining memberships and new accounts, and advising members on various financial solutions. Responsibilities Accountable for providing excellent member service and maintaining strong professional relationships. Assists members with new loans and products, opening and maintaining memberships and new accounts, advises members on various financial solutions and maintains knowledge on products and services. Educates and encourages membership to utilize various digital solutions to enhance overall member experience. Courteously and promptly resolves member questions and problems or properly refers them to appropriate team members. Qualifications Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent. Must be or become registered as an MLO and have a Nationwide Licensing Number. Experience Required: One to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Cash handling and customer service experience is preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order. Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to follow company policies, guidelines and procedures. Well organized and able to meet deadlines. Additional Requirements: This position is subject to SAFE Act Registration Requirements. Where applicable, all loan officers must register with the federal registry system and maintain a status in good standing under the SAFE Act requirements. Failure to register successfully or maintain status may affect eligibility for continued employment and may result in immediate termination.
