Quality Manager

Quality Manager DSJ Global is currently partnering with a leading food manufacturer to identify a Quality Manager who will play a critical leadership role in driving food safety, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to influence plant-wide performance while working closely with Operations, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain leadership teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in food manufacturing quality systems, hands‑on audit experience, and a proven ability to build and lead high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the facility's Food Safety and Quality Management System. Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, FSMA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and customer requirements. Manage internal audits, customer audits, third‑party audits, and regulatory inspections. Drive corrective and preventive action programs through effective root cause analysis. Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Partner with Operations leadership to reduce waste, improve yields, and enhance product quality. Oversee environmental monitoring, sanitation verification, and quality testing programs. Develop, coach, and mentor quality personnel while fostering a strong food safety culture. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality performance and operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, or a related field preferred. 4+ years of quality leadership experience within food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, PCQI, and regulatory requirements. Experience leading audit programs and interacting with customers and regulatory agencies. Proven ability to build teams, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills. Why Consider This Opportunity?
