Accounting Clerk (Temp to Hire)

Job Title Accounting Clerk Compensation $17.00-$20.00/hr Employment Status Full-Time / Non-Exempt Work Type 3 months; Temp to hire Reports to CFO Job Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team! This is a temporary position, with the potential for permanent employment based upon performance and business needs. The Accounting Clerk will assist our finance department with various clerical and financial tasks. Responsibilities Reconcile credit/debit card transactions, bank statements, and general ledger accounts. Create and maintain financial reports. Process payments. Performs general administrative tasks for the finance and billing departments. Assist with financial audits. Performs other assignments as needed. Qualifications A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. An associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. 1–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related administrative experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong collaboration skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Must be highly organized. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
