Compensation: 85K - 105K + Bonus

Overview

A growing, innovative organization is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This individual will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives. The position offers exposure to a variety of accounting functions within a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with revenue recognition, accruals, inventory-related accounting, and other general ledger activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Prepare audit support schedules and assist with external audit requests.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within accounting workflows.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting initiatives as the company continues to grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working within an ERP environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
• Experience in a manufacturing, technology, or product-based environment.
• ERP experience, particularly with cloud-based accounting systems.
• Track record of driving process improvements and implementing efficiencies.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
