Overview Accounting Specialist – Convenience Store Operations Position is based out of Bear Lake, MI Responsibilities Join Our Team! Are you organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers? We're looking for a C-Store Accounting Specialist to help support our convenience store operations across Michigan. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their office and administrative skills in a stable, team-focused environment. No advanced accounting experience is required. We'll provide training on our systems and processes. What You'll Do As a Store Accounting Specialist, you'll help ensure store information is accurate and up to date by reviewing reports, researching discrepancies, and supporting our accounting team. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing daily store reports for accuracy Verifying deposits, fuel transactions, lottery activity, and other store paperwork Comparing reports and identifying missing or incorrect information Contacting store teams to resolve questions and discrepancies Entering and updating information in company systems Assisting with customer credit card dispute researchMaintaining organized records and documentation Processing incoming mail and other administrative tasks Supporting month-end accounting activities Completing additional projects and assignments as needed What We're Looking For Successful candidates are: Detail-oriented and accurate Comfortable working with numbers and reports Organized and able to manage multiple tasks Dependable and self-motivated Strong communicators who work well with others Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other computer programs Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous office, administrative, retail, banking, or customer service experience preferred Experience working with reports, spreadsheets, or cash handling is helpful but not required Why You'll Enjoy This Role Monday–Friday office schedule Supportive team environment Variety in your daily work Opportunity to learn accounting and business operations Stable position with room to grow If you enjoy solving problems, staying organized, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
