Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology FT Night Shift (Hrs: 7p-7a) Location: Newark, DE Overview ChristianaCare Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 6E Oncology Unit. As an oncology nurse, you will implement a relationship-based care model that focuses on building strong connections with patients, families, and colleagues. This approach is guided by our core values of love and excellence. Unit Details Unit 6E is a 38-bed inpatient unit specializing in hematology and oncology. It provides both scheduled and emergency care and procedures 24/7. The unit accommodates patients who require inpatient care for their diagnoses or for managing symptoms related to their treatments. Services include cancer diagnoses, chemotherapy administration, and medical management of conditions such as febrile neutropenia, uncontrolled pain, and nausea/vomiting. The patient population includes adult and geriatric patients, with conditions classified as either stable or serious. Patients are received, transferred, or admitted from homes, the emergency department, physicians' offices, and other hospital units. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months Education and Experience Requirements DE RN License or a Compact RN License. BSN or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date. BLS required. Registered Nurse with 1-2 years of experience in med/surg preferred. Oncology certification preferred. Pay Rate Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05. This range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including, without limitation, skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
