Crisis Intervention services include telephone, crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referral and linking to community resources. Work in a supportive team environment while helping people access mental health/drug and alcohol services throughout Cambria County.CCR’s mission is connecting people to services. Here, you’ll appreciate the support and camaraderie of a local team as you provide the community with care and support that will improve their mental health and well-being.Hours: 4pm - 12am, including weekends. We offer an extra $1.50 hr shift differential for the overnight shift. This gives you an opportunity to pick a schedule that best suits your needs/lifestyle. This creates a great work-life balance. We offer (to start) 20 days of PTO a year!The salary range for this position is $21.54/hour - $25.09/hour. We also offer a possible higher salary based on experience. Crisis Counselors can work on call to respond to the community.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. With major course work in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, history, criminal justice, nursing, counseling, education, theology, political science or related field AND one-year experience in mental health field required.Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. (Degree/course work is Sociology, Social Work, Human Development and Psychology are strongly preferred) orBe a registered nurse orHave a High School diploma or equivalency AND 12 semester credit hours in Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Gerontology or other Social Science AND 2 years of experience in public or private human services with 1 year of mental health direct care experience(Associates degree with minimum of 12 semester credit hours in Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology and Human Development is strongly preferred)(2 years of direct mental health experience is strongly preferred)Experience:One year experience in Crisis Services or in the mental health field preferred with a bachelors degree.
