Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down / PCU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Works in a Med-Surg/Step Down (PCU) hospital unit, with placement determined by greatest need between PCU and Med/Surg/Tele units based on the traveler's skill set
• Night shift hours: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set to other units onsite or to sister sites within 40 miles
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills checklist must be completed
• Local candidates are welcome to apply, though a reduced pay rate may apply depending on proximity to the facility
