Radiologic Tech

Job Description

?- Carries out radiology requisitions and views. Uses radiographic technique, PACS, and assists

other staff members as needed.

-? Operates all portables and C-Arm equipment.

-? Memorizes what views each physician requires on exams.

-? Assists patients in getting into the positions required to get the radiographs needed with the

occasional need to lift the patient.

-? Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.

Skills and Requirements

Experience: Six months experience as a radiologic technologist required.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

?- Completion of course work in radiologic technology approved by the ARRT.

?- Current ARRT certification & current TN licensure.

?- BLS certification.

?- Knowledge of radiographic technique

?- Knowledge of PACS - Orthopedic experience
