Shift Supervisor

SHIFT SUPERVISOR - Sterling Heights, MI.
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm - Overtime and weekends mandatory based on production schedule
Job Description of the Shift Supervisor :
Oversee all day-to-day operations of CER personnel and quality control operations. Manage a positive customer relation with all corporate employees. The ideal candidate selected for this position will:

Must be willing to inspect parts as needed

Check-in at the site on off shifts as needed

Assist with new job set-up

Coordinate and assess required training and team building

Responsible for ensuring accountability and discipline

Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the team

Communicate the overtime schedule to the work team

Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.)

Prepare all incident reports to include identification of root cause and corrective action

Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization

Adherence to all company policies and procedures (ex. Quality Policy Manual, Colleague Handbook)

Responsible for ensuring the team has the necessary tools and materials to properly perform their roles safely and efficiently
Required skills needed of the Shift Supervisor :

High School Diploma/GED required, college coursework preferred

Must be willing to travel to local locations within the Metro Detroit area and/or surrounding counties

Must have a minimum of ONE YEAR automotive quality supervisory experience

Must be detailed oriented

Must have Microsoft Excel skills

Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced environment

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Proven leadership ability

Ability to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations
Physical requirements of the Shift Supervisor position :
Duties include but are not limited to standing, walking, twisting, bending, lifting, seeing, talking, and hearing the duration of the shift
A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and drug screen and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team
