Connect to what matters.The OpportunityThe USGP Project Management Office (PMO) Project Manager is responsible for coordinating with cross-functional project stakeholders and support teams to provide process standardization, facilitate project governance tracking, and manage continual improvement initiatives to support the USGP Organization.What you'll doDevelop and maintain formal processes and procedures for project execution, including, but not limited to: Playbooks, Project Templates, Project Delivery Plans, Roadmaps, and Contract DocumentsSupport assurance activities to ensure conformance with TC Project Delivery Standard (PDS)Identify and implement technical and process driven Continual Improvement (CI) initiativesDevelop CI initiative charters, execution plans, and detailed schedules to support initiative prioritizationResource load and lead cross-functional teams to deliver on CI goals and objectivesMonitor risk and develop risk mitigation strategies throughout CI development and implementationGenerate and distribute senior management reporting summarizing project portfolio KPI's, CI initiative status, and program conformance with corporate standardsCollaborate with Corporate Services, Technical Centre, and Project Stakeholders to ensure process conformance with corporate standardsDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with project personnel and support teamsPartner with Project Management Teams to develop Stage Gates presentations and documentation necessary for gate readiness reviewsCollaborate with Project Quality team to identify and share lessons learnedProvide USGP representation for various process improvement initiatives across the organization.Minimum QualificationsDegree/technical degree required; Business Management, Engineering, Quality, or Project ManagementMinimum 4 or more years of related experienceKnowledge and experience with project and portfolio management processes, policies, and principlesWorking knowledge of version control and change management processesExperience interacting with and presenting to Leadership.Preferred QualificationsPMP or CAPM or Six Sigma CertificationQuantitative and analytical skillsAbility to communicate (both written and verbal) with all levels of the organization effectively in a clear and concise mannerDemonstrated ability to manage varied tasks, adapt to changing tasks and identify appropriate prioritization for timely executionFamiliarity with SAP Project System/PPMProficiency with various Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project)To remain competitive, support our high-performance culture and allow for more flexibility in the way we work, we offer a hybrid work model and flexible dress code for our eligible office-based workforce in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. #LI-HybridAbout our businessWe are a leader in North American energy infrastructure, spanning Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
