Apply now to join our team as a housekeeping professional.Job Summary: Ensures the provision of a clean environment for our residents and staff, providing high-quality services and high standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures.Required QualificationsPrior experience in housekeeping/laundry or janitorial work is preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipmentFamiliarity with safety procedures and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicalsStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical stamina to carry out cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periodsProficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.Must have basic digital literacy, including the ability to download and navigate smartphone applications used for timekeeping and HR tasks.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform general cleaning duties; laundry, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuumingClean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies and emptying trashMaintain cleanliness and order in common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and loungesClean and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with established standardsKeep inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is neededCollaborate with team members to complete larger cleaning projects, such as deep cleaning carpets or windowsRespond to and resolve any housekeeping issues or complaints promptly and courteouslyFollow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe and hazard-free work environmentAdhere to company policies and procedures at all timesAdditional Requirements:Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position; lift, push, pull, carry heavy objects. Stand for long periods of time, walk, bend, and stretch.
