Chisago Lakes Community Education is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic personal trainer to join our team. This individual will work one-on-one with clients to develop customized fitness programs, provide coaching and accountability, and create a positive and engaging training experience.

Position details:

• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Starting wage: $35/hour

Qualifications:

• Current personal training certification (ACE, NASM, NSCA, ACSM, or equivalent)
• CPR/AED certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and connect with clients of all ages and fitness levels
• Reliable, professional, and self-motivated

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous personal training or coaching experience
• Experience working in a community or recreational setting
• Group fitness experience is a plus

Job duties:

• Conduct fitness assessments and goal-setting consultations
• Design and implement personalized workout programs
• Provide safe, effective, and engaging training sessions
• Educate clients on proper exercise technique and injury prevention
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Maintain a clean and organized training environment
• Assist with member engagement and retention efforts
• Build positive relationships with members and provide encouragement, motivation, and support
