Technical Program Manager(Data Engineering)- #26-23426

Job Description

\n

Duration: 12 months
\n Details:

\n
• Own and manage the Data Engineering roadmap across supported brands, translating enterprise priorities into clear delivery plans, releases, backlogs, and measurable outcomes.
\n
• Lead Agile delivery for cross-functional data platform and engineering teams, including standups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
\n
• Refine and maintain Jira backlogs to reflect upcoming initiatives, emergent work, engineering dependencies, and shifting business priorities.
\n
• Drive end-to-end program management for complex, multi-quarter data engineering initiatives, ensuring teams have clear priorities, aligned stakeholders, and actionable next steps.
\n
• Proactively identify risks, blockers, dependencies, access needs, tooling gaps, and cross-team handoffs so engineers can keep work moving.
\n
• Create visibility across initiatives through async updates, Jira hygiene, executive-level reporting, dashboards, program reviews, portfolio health tracking, and clear stakeholder communications.
\n

\n
• 5 years of experience of relationship-building strength across cross-functional teams; you understand what partners are working on, identify ways big and small that Data Engineering can help, and help stakeholders see where they would benefit from Data Engineering support.
\n
• Experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Lead, Technical Program Manager, or similar role in an enterprise, technology-driven environment.
\n
• Strong experience leading Agile delivery using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and hybrid delivery models appropriate for data infrastructure and platform work.
\n
• High Jira fluency, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, ticket hygiene, dependency tracking, and the ability to connect engineering work to upcoming initiatives or emergent business needs.
\n
• Strong async communication skills across Slack, Jira, and documentation channels; you are an over-communicator who creates clarity, writes in public, welcomes feedback, and follows up thoughtfully on questions and decisions.
\n
• Sound judgment about collaboration norms: you know when to put a meeting on the calendar, and you enjoy cancelling meetings when an issue can be resolved clearly and efficiently asynchronously.
\n
• Working knowledge of the software development life cycle and experience partnering with data engineering, data platform, or data operations teams across end-to-end data flow, data quality, and delivery execution.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous data needs into actionable execution plans, balancing strategic portfolio oversight with hands-on program leadership.
\n
• A commitment to Trust, building reliable relationships, following through on commitments, and helping teams make informed decisions with confidence.
\n
• A collaborative approach grounded in Teamwork, helping Product, Engineering, Analytics, Ad Sales, Marketing, and business partners align around shared outcomes.
\n
• A communication style rooted in Transparency, creating visibility into priorities, risks, dependencies, initiative health, blockers, and tradeoffs.
\n
• The ability to operate with Agility, adapting delivery practices and priorities as business needs, technical complexity, and stakeholder requirements evolve.
\n
• An Entrepreneurial Spirit, with the initiative to improve processes, strengthen operating rhythms, create scalable frameworks, and drive continuous improvement across Data Engineering delivery.
\n
• Experience building broad communications plans across active enterprise initiatives and programs.
\n
• Experience supporting organizational change, platform adoption, or new operating models within technical teams.
\n
• Experience institutionalizing knowledge through structured documentation, governance, and repeatable delivery frameworks.
