Data engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Data engineer for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. The candidate will design and maintain scalable data pipelines while ensuring data quality and optimizing data processing systems across platforms.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Data engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing systems.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for ingesting and transforming large datasets from diverse sources.
• Develop and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and data integration solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance across all data platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics, reporting, and business requirements.
• Optimize database performance, automate data workflows, and implement monitoring and alerting systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in data engineering, data processing, and analytics environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration tools.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and managing scalable data warehouses and data lakes.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $54.00 per hour
