As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driving Role in Weslaco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist customers, employees, and visitors with professionalism. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and carry authorized firearms in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
