Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor

Overview The Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership for the maintenance staff to maintain and repair all machinery and equipment in our facilities and ensure all buildings and grounds are well maintained. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the maintenance parts stock, dealing with outside vendors for machine and facility repairs, and negotiating favorable pricing. This position will also interview, hire, train and organize the maintenance staff to ensure we have cost-effective resources to support the efficient operation of our facilities. This is a highly responsible and visible position in a fast-paced environment which requires a high sense of urgency. This position requires the ability to (this is not a complete job description): plan, manage, monitor, and evaluate the workflow to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are achieved train and develop maintenance personnel to improve the safety and technical skills through effective training in proper troubleshooting techniques and professional repair of machinery implement, maintain, and enforce the Company's lock out tag out procedures develop, implement, and sustain a preventative maintenance program utilize and improve work order system to provide timely repairs to tools, machinery, equipment, and the facilities coordinate projects with the Plant Manager to ensure work is properly coordinated, approved, and completed in conformance with established priorities and procedures evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments, identifying problems and requirements actively participates in invoicing/billing reconciliation for work orders design, quote, and create equipment/fixtures to aid production processes (structure, process, wiring, sensors) modify current equipment/fixtures to update process requirements direct the environmental activities associated with the plant, such as air, water, and hazardous and nonhazardous solid and liquid waste maintain effective communication with all departments and any applicable outside resources ensure good housekeeping in all areas of the facility including maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, and common areas maintain regular and predictable attendance meet or exceed all performance and productivity standards promote a safe and healthy work environment on all company property to achieve the best working conditions for all employees and visitors stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, and reach while handling material or products ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures perform other assignments as requested or as business needs require demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with vendors, visitors and other employees We offer an amazing benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), life insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, training program, and more.
