Accounting Intern

Part Time Accounting Intern Hourly Rate: $17.00-$18.00 Part Time: 3 days a week Location: Concord Hospitality Lansing hotel location (Dual AC/Hyatt University Area) Responsibilities: Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliations. Support monthly financial reporting and audit preparation. Help monitor accounts payable and receivable processes. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Adhere to all company, brand, and government policies and procedures. Conduct oneself to reflect the high standards of professionalism within the organization. Maintain a project enthusiastic, optimistic, helpful attitude. Assist other leadership team members and/or managers when needed. Complete all required accounting functions for the property as advised by GM and Corporate. Other duties as requested by GM and/or Corporate Directors. Qualifications: Current student or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic knowledge of accounting principles; experience with Excel required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a team-oriented environment. Detail‑oriented, capable of carrying out a given task with all necessary details (Required). Schedule: Part‑time, 3 days a week – flexible hours to accommodate class schedules.
