Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Dallas, TX | Full-Time

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join a growing industrial recycling and material processing facility in the Dallas area. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment to maximize uptime in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, rollers, chains, and other mechanical systems.
  
  
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures to minimize production downtime.
  
  
• Maintain conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and material handling systems.
  
  
• Weld and fabricate components as needed to support equipment repairs.
  
  
• Replace belts, pulleys, shafts, sprockets, and mechanical drive components.
  
  
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and document maintenance activities.
  
  
• Work closely with operations to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
  
  
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, recycling, distribution, aggregate, steel, paper, food processing, or similar industrial facility.
  
  
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  
  
• Experience maintaining conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
  
  
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, chains, and mechanical power transmission.
  
  
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
  
  
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.
  
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
